Sculptural Vase Sea Foam
This pottery piece is a one of a kind and a single addition.
This vase is hand build out of white stoneware using the coiling method. It's a slow and meticulous process of hand building pottery dating back over 10,000 years.
The vase is glazed in light gray matte glaze with splashes of crater glaze. Glazing in ceramics is very unpredictable and most of the time unrepeatable. I'm very happy with the result and can assure you you won't be able to find an identical piece, not by form, not by glaze combination.
The crater glaze is very porous and needs to be handled with care.
