I welcome commissions for custom ceramic pieces, whether for private collections or interior design projects. Each vessel is individually hand-coiled and sculpted without the use of molds, ensuring that every piece possesses its own distinct character and craftsmanship.

How to Inquire

If you’re interested in commissioning a piece, please reach out via the contact form or by sending me an email at anna@annashipulina.com with the following details:

  • The type of piece you’re looking for (vase, sculpture, wall piece, etc.).

  • Approximate dimensions or size preferences.

  • Color and texture preferences.

  • Any inspiration or reference images (if applicable).

I’ll review your request and get back to you with availability, pricing, and any additional details needed to bring your vision to life.

Lead Time

Since each piece is entirely handmade, commissions typically take 4-8 weeks to complete, depending on size, complexity, and current workload. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Process

  1. Creation – the piece will be hand-built using traditional coiling techniques, then slowly dried to prevent cracking. I typically create two versions of each commissioned piece, as every handmade work develops its own unique qualities. This allows you to choose the one that resonates most with you.

  2. Firing – after drying, the work goes through the first firing, followed by a final high-temperature firing to enhance strength and durability.

  3. Completion - once finished I will send you the photos of the pieces to choose from.

  4. Delivery – once confirmed, I’ll carefully package the piece and arrange for shipping or local pickup.

Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, slight variations in form and texture are expected and celebrated as part of the artistic process.

If you’re ready to commission a piece or have any questions, feel free to reach out via a contact form!
